Five previous auction horses qualified for the German Championships this year in Warendorf

From 3rd – 7th September the top names of the German Novice eventers will be contesting against one another at this year’s Championships in Warendorf.

Five previous auction horses from the Top-Event-Horse-Auction in 2007 have qualified with their new riders for this highlight of the season. This is, in fact, one quarter of last year’s auction candidates!  Not only professional riders but also amateurs will be partnering the horses in Warendorf. The auction’s organizer, Elmar Lesch, has always placed great importance upon the selection of a varied range of horses, giving prospective purchasers an opportunity to find the right kind of mount. The impressive success stories from the past years certainly confirm this philosophy.

The list of horses qualified for the German Championships for 5-year olds is as follows:  Aska and Don Lovely ridden by Michael Jung and Gräfin Guiliana ridden by Moritz von Ziegner.  The 6-year olds will be represented by Don Juan M ridden by Constantin von Ziegner and Dragon ridden by Michael Jung.

Of course the German Championships offer a great chance to see the horses performing live.  During the championships, Elmar Lesch and Iris Schless will be available at the showground.  They will be more than pleased to chat personally to anyone interested in the horses.  Please note their mobile telephone numbers to enable contact:  Elmar Lesch +49 (0) 171 450 86 73 and Iris Schless +49 (0) 171 260 51 53.

The Top-Event-Horse-Auction will take place on Saturday, 1st November 2008 and offers all interested riders, looking for top quality horses, once again the exclusive opportunity to view the collection of approximately 25 elite event horses at one central venue.

From 1st October 2008 all of the auction horses will be available for trial rides at the riding centre belonging to Elmar Lesch. It is advised to make early contact to reserve an appointment for trying out the horses.
